Location

Wallace Street Māori Hill forms the western boundary of Dunedin's town belt - 61 Wallace Street is at the northern end of the street in a quiet and secluded cul-de-sac. As there are dwellings only on the western side of Wallace Street, the magnificent swathe of mature trees of the town belt provides the property and real estate with a unique and unparalleled inner-city park-like living environment.

This gently sloping property sits beautifully for all-day sun and is in very close proximity to Dunedin's finest schools, medical facilities and the city's favourite attractions.

Site history

The original Dunottar subdivision was created in 1911 when a large area of real estate in the heart of Māori Hill Dunedin, consisting of approximately 20 acres, between Wallace Street and Highgate was subdivided into 80 allotments.

This real estate in Māori Hill, as it was over one hundred years ago, is one of Dunedin's most sort-after residential locations.

The properties now known as 61, 61a and 61b Wallace Street, circled and shaded below on the 1911 Dunottar subdivision deposited plan, were retained by the original developers. With a total area of 3,000m2, these superb pieces of real estate on offer are unsurpassed in Māori Hill, Dunedin for position and general amenity.
